Finsbury Food Group is a leading speciality bakery manufacturer, producing a diverse range of cakes, bread and bakery snack products for the major UK multiple retailers and for the foodservice channel. The group includes brands and bakery companies such as Memory Lane Cakes, Ligthbody, Johnstone’s Food Service, Fletchers, Nicholas & Harris, Kara and Ultrapharm.

Founded in 2002 Finsbury Food Group includes UK bakery, Overseas and Group Operations. The UK bakery segment manufactures and sells bakery products in the United Kingdom, while the Overseas and Group Operations segment distributes the company’s products, primarily in Europe.

With more than 3 000 employees, the group aims to operate in an ethical and sustainable way, by working with local communities, lowering their impact on the environment, and working closely with their suppliers to ensure ethical and sustainable sources for their ingredients.

Finsbury Group Procurement department is reinforcing its influence and capacity on the group, with an objective to bring continuous value to all stakeholdersinternal customers, Finance and top management. Based on the overall corporate objectives, their purchasing activities are heading towards sustainable solutions that fulfil objectives in quality and performance.
