Meet the team | Thomas Delamarre
The goal of these articles is to introduce the members of our team.
Here is Thomas Delamarre, Customer Success Manager, who joined Per Angusta almost a year ago!
Let’s start with a quick Chinese portrait!
If you were a dish?
If I have to cook it I’d say a Croque monsieur… but I would die for a “rougail saucisse” which a typical meal from the Reunion Island! 🥪
La Brède … it’s a small town near Bordeaux, We have a family house there, with lots of good memories 😎
A famous character?
Well, for the story, in the middle of a business meeting a supplier told me once that I looked like Lionel Messi although I’m taller.
But more seriously, the famous French “Père Castor”, because I love telling stories.
A tool? 🛠
A microphone, because I like to talk and make the others talk 🎤
What’s your last impulse purchase?
I recently bought some sound gears to record musical podcasts 🎵
What did you do before joining Per Angusta?
Three very specific experiences, because both industries and purchasing categories were always different from one to another. So, I had the opportunity to discover plenty of topics and people.
I like procurement, it’s a very structuring activity for organizations. So I’m happy to work in this area, now on the software editor side but still in touch with purchasing experts all day long.
What is your current role within the CSM Team?
I’m a project Manager / CSM. It means that I take care of customers as soon as he agreed with our sales department on the proper value offer. First, I ensure the set up and the delivery of the platform for the customers through Workshops and short trainings. This is the project management side.
I’m also in charge of ensuring customers’ adoption of the Solution. I help them making the best usage of Per Angusta, by giving them some rex from other customers and by setting-up new features developed by our tech department. Finally, I work in collaboration with our colleagues from the Marketing department to lead and feed our users community through support and events. And that is the CSM side of my job.
Tell us about a project that you are particularly proud to have participated in Per Angusta?
To be honest it’s not one particular mission that makes me proud of working here really. It’s more about being be involved in the global project and evolution of Per Angusta.
I’m happy to talk about the company, having lots of different discussions with my colleagues, and last but not least, being proud to have the opportunity to bring something useful to my customers every day.
We grow up fast but with control in terms of commercial development and technical features with great people and clients who trust us. It’s very exciting and stimulating.
There is no moment in my life when I don’t want to talk about all those positive things … I think this is a pretty good KPI.
Why did you want to join Per Angusta?
As a former employee of firms with thousands of employees, I wanted to be part of a human size organisation. A place where human skills is as important as the expertise. In fact contributing to the organisation’s mindset on top of the hard skills.
Furthermore, when I was working in Monoprix I used to be a user of Per Angusta, so I had the opportunity to “feel” the Per Angusta’s atmosphere. I really wanted to give a try with this exciting company and especially working with the Per Angusta team.
Come on, you can tell us … 😉 is there something that you’re particularly proud of?
Beyond making nice croques monsieur, I used to play electric guitar in a rock band. We have recorded kind of an album in studio. We also made around 15 shows. The most memorable one is when we played a concert in a center for mentally disabled people. And trust me, it’s one of the hottest public that I’ve ever seen! 😛
